The 6800 Ultra is an overclocked 6800gt, so some of the overclocking headroom has already been used to get the "stock" speeds. Are you against a pencil mod to increase the voltage?

The 6800 Ultra is NOT a overclocked 68000 GT. They are both build on the same core (I forget what that core is), but they are not the same card. It IS ture, however, that the only diferance performance wise is that the 6800 Ultra is clocked higher. It can be clocked higher because it runs at a higher voltage. Thus, you should be able to overclock it just as well as any video card. As for why you cant overclock it, some cards require a "burn in" time before they can be overclocked to the max. How long have you had your card?

Heh... my 6800gt is at 438/1180 and im still not happy. I think u guys can help me out here. It simply WILL NOT pass that dang driver test at above 439 core. Does that mean not enough voltage? Should i try adding some more with that pencial thing?
