Are those 6800 LE's OC'd giving you that score?

Yes, I have the 350/400 OC'd to 435/825. I take it that when I use coolbits2, it changes both cards and not just one. I have not been able to isolate the second to OC. I am new at all this, so there might be many ways to get more out of them. My CPU, RAM etc are all stock so far. I need more power to do everything right.

hhmmm.. I've gotten 7253 With two 6600GT's. I'm pretty new to OC too, still learning alot after 6 months. You'll probably beat my score after you get your CPU up a bit though.

I'm only 200 points behind your GTX with two 6600GT's. Not too shabby!

I agree that there is still a long way to go. 3dmark sometimes gives me a non-sli result. So some of my settings must be off. Also a 3200+ chip is highly OC'able. I should be able to get so very nice power out of the whole unit. I bought it for cost and OC ability. The 6600GT is only a fraction of the cost under the 6800LE's. The single 3dmark for a 6600GT is 2900? vs the 3010 I got for a 6800LE. The idea was to get a good cheap card running, and then in 6 months when the extra dough was available, get the second to bring me up to any single card on the market. They have done me well at that and should keep me in the game for a number of years to come.

remember a 7800 GTX is a tad more costly then a lowly pair of 6600 GT's

If you want to get both of them OC'ed, just modify their BIOS to the new speeds.

Yeah for sure!
I did the same thing. I got one 6600GT for its price to peformance ratio when I built this unit 8 months ago. OC'd the single card best score i got was 4299. Just got the second one a couple weeks ago and was impressed my score went up 68%! So I would hardly call a pair of 6600GT's lowly.

Interesting thought there. I think i will try it to see, i've flashed the cards before for uping the voltage and i know it flashs both of them one at a time when in SLI. I'm thinking overclocking from the panel does them both, but I will see if there is a difference with flashing them with the higher clock in bios.

.
Got me wrong... Meant that a couple of 6600GT's or a couple of 6800LE's have got more than enough punch in them. When dealing bang for buck.

also, just took them out of SLI mode and tried to OC them individually. Once I did the first and opened the second - it already had the new settings... might be that you have to have the cards the same.
