Just ordered memory

Hey I just ordered this memory http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231032
earlier this morning. I know that this ram could get up to 270Mhz - 280Mhz. But what happens if the memory doesn't? I know that I can overclock my CPU to 3.0 GHZ with my cooling. But I know that this memory won't be able to handle it. What happens if I set a divider? How much performance will I Lose. If I lose performance will it be noticeable performance while playing games or just some benchmar scores? Also can someone give me a link so that I can read about dividers and how to set them? Thanks
