Best speakers for $50 - Page 2

yeah i'd also recommend the logitech Z-530 set here

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16836121126

i JUST replaced that setup with the Z-5500's that i got for Christmas. it's a very nice setup for the price. the bass is plenty deep and responsive for gaming and music. can't beat that for the price IMO

No I know your saying, "whoa, that's it?", but this system has some of the richest bass I have ever heard from a sub-$100 system. Abosolutley amazing , even on my craptastic SB Live.

If you want to go a little out of budget, spring for these:

My primary system for the computer, I bought a second set and run the sub in my home theator because I loved the clear, crisp bass it put out all the way down to it's limits. (Not to forget the goosebump-inducing highs from the titanium drivers.)
Actually, i'm using the creative speaker you listed on the top right now, ever since about a few months ago, the sound has been cutting in and cutting out, goes soft then loud, something is up with them, and I am getting fed up. I was just playing NFS:MW and my sound would sometimes be loud, then all of the sudden, the green light on the volume knob would flicker and the sound would cut out or go soft.

I also have that particular model and I can say with confidence that they are one of the best speakers for the price.

Really? That's interesting. I've never had a problem like that.
