New GELID Fans to check out

GELID Wing 12 PL

We have another contender for those looking for the whisper quiet system. I'm curious to see how these fair on a radiator. Anything that has the word Nanoflux in its specs gets my vote .

I'm using 13 GELID 12 UV Green (the original ones) and they're great for radiators. The newer ones have a bit better static pressure, 10 more CFM at the cost of 2DBA more, which seems accepable. The GELID fans are excellen! They're presleeved, come with a fan controller, have removeable blades (which makes cleaning pretty easy to do). The PL version is lit up, which is pretty much the only aesthetic difference.

they seem pretty similar to these http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...tions%20Ltd%2E

nanoflux bearing, removable impeller.

i have one on my TRUE, and its very quiet, quieter than my previous scythe s-flex and keeps my cpu cooler too.

Those are the "original" versions. The newer one features a slightly faster motor, and UV LEDs. I don't think NCIX will stock these anytime soon unless they manage to clear their current GELID stock asap, and then bring these bad boys in.

The dBA rating seems off... the S-Flex G, which has the same CFM rating, is rated in the mid 30s for dBA, which is accurate. Of course, this might come from measuring at a greater distance, but all the same.

Wish they still had the UV reactive blades instead of the LED ones.

Friggen' 22 bucks a pop. I wish I was Canadian, then I could order them off DazMode's store. He has a deal for a Feser 360 radiator and 3 of these fans for only 150 bucks.

I don't know who in their right mind would buy these fans for $22. The bearings are cool, but you can buy a San ace for $5 less, and get 6 times the static pressure with a bearing that should last just as long
