"This MOD is all about sweet roots reggae music"
I made a radio server with all kinds of reggae for you to listen.
To listen you need Winamp or some sort, or a player thats able to add locations
you can listen here
http://registered-foundation.servemp3.com:8000/
or
http://registered-foundation.servemp...000/listen.pls for a direct start
The radio contains only reall vynil records and all of dem are singles
Some dancehall tunes from record also still in there i try to delete dem fast.
Lets hope they dont get played when you listen lol
Sit back, chill and relax while reading this thread
At first the picture's have bad quality but they get better in the end
allright my first MOD and starting at intermediate
Gonna be a huge challange to compete after what i have seen what has been made last year, will do my best though
The Idea:
This MOD isnt about superfancy stuff, latest technology and such.
I want to try and make a roots reggae MOD and since true rasta's dont have much money this has to be a cheap MOD to.
So what cheaper then Modding my own pc ?
right.. so ill be modding my own pc.
Wasnt a cheap computer, but its almost 1 year old now and we will just think a Rasta can buy this second hand now
Alot of reggae stuff on the market always looks really overdone with all those colours and looks a bit fake to me. Ill try to be subtle with the reggae colours [red, yellow, green] in addition i want to blend it with black and white colours. Black and white as humanity in Unity. Rasta's are all about peace and love
Its about music so the computer is going to be quit and have a good sound output. for that ill be using an Asus Essence STX. it has an RCA and Jack 6.3 output, wich is perfect for hooking up on a proper reggae soundsystem.
ill take pictures of it hooked up onto a system as well. that way u see the purpose of this Computer and how well it blends in with a reggae soundsystem.
The MOD has to be fast an easy to. a rasta isnt someone who would put alot of work in a computer i think [you have to be a nerd like us
]. also can serve as a nice example on how to MOD ur own existing computer fast and cheap.
Thats the idea, now to work it out. first ill list all original components used in this computer before modding.
The Plan:
1. Paint grills red, yellow and green.
2. Paint the RAM [black, red, yellow and green]
3. Replace case fans for white ones.
4. Get blue led out of CPU cooler.
5. cable management [holes etc.]
6. LED light system on fan controll.
7. Paint case inside.
8. Paint graphics card.
9. Paint back of case.
10. Get back fangaurd out and replace for a silver one with golden screws.
11. Put music on server.
12. replace disks for SSD's.
13. Put SSD's out of sight on side panel.
14. Stealth dvd player.
15. Make own system speaker.
16. Custom sticker sidepanel.
18. Paint grill from top fan
19. Paint grill side panel
20. Custom sticker on side of graphics card
21. Custom sticker front top case
22. Make 8-pin power connector longer to go behind panel.
23. Build radio server for people to listen while reading this thread.
24. Make a little garden in the case.
25. hopefully a custom wrist-wrap in reggae colors hanging on PC.
26. Hook to hang up ur headphones on side panel.
27. Slot protectors on those u can still reach.
28. Flip HD if raptor is still in there [poor me
]
29. Blend in computer with my stereo.
30. Overclock + benchmark results.
31. Final picture session.
Lets hope we can everything thats planned
