X2 Oc general question

Looking at the general gains how well do the AMD X2 proccesors Oc? Is it easy to get them stable or are they a pain in the @@@?

I'm asking cuz a friend of mine is shtinking about buyin a X2 4200 and wonders if he can get any results with these processores, and since I am only used to pentium I don't realy know myself.

There no diferent then overclocking a single core,except when testing stability then you need to run 2 independant instances of prime one on each core .

But won't having 2 seperate processors make it harder to get a stable oc? I mean you're can't go futher the "weakest" one?

And in general is the X2 mp locked?
