It has arrived. the long anticipated release of Teamsepeak 3 beta.

Already Existing users have felt the benefit over teamspeak 2. with users now being able to add Avatars and personal descriptions. TS3 also allows users to manipulate it like never before.



but the most impressive feature is the ability to easily link with other teamspeak servers and change by clicking on the tabs at the bottom of the window to the corresponding server.

the new codec's make everyone you thought you knew sound completely different. but music streaming is outstanding quality and the new features make it quite enjoyable.

I like, but the permission system is kind of stupid and could have been made simpler with the same end result.

its not too dissimilar from TS2 i thought.



guest is the same, when you join you can talk and leave. thats about it.

with voice you can post comments and links and download from the channels file browser. much like giving ca to an unregistered user on TS2

operators is basically a registered user. or its equivalent. you get no powers other than being able to interact with most features but you cant kick ban check ips or other.

and channel admin is pretty much the same as ts2

It doesn't look that impressive really, I was expecting something better (what exactly, I don't know).

For now though, I think I'll stick with TeamSpeak RC2.
