I have a quick question. Ive read how kiva works but Id like to ask those whove actually loaned money. Do us lenders receive interest or does it all go to the field workers?

as far as i know, you simply get what you put in back, then you can choose to either a)take your payback and keep, or b)pay it to another individual.

Haha, in school our teacher had us loan $25 for a project. It didn't turn out the way we expected and we forgot all about it. Oh well, at least we loaned people some money.

One question though. What are the fees like for the loans for the people we are loaning to?

From what I understand, the loans are interest free. I'm not sure if currency loss is covered by the field partner or person being loaned to (for cases where there is currency loss protection).
