mobo error codes...

ok went to bed last night and my pc was fine,i turn on this morning no posts.take gpus out and heres my error codes(00-E8-01-62)any1 know what this means,they just keep flashing that code right after each other.

Error codes list starts on page 66

00: no error
E8: refers to setup page 8.. not sure what that means
01: reserved.. again, not sure what that means. unknown code basically
62: reserved again

I hope someone else can help you.. I tried, but EVGA just doesn't have the info you need in the manual. But it would be a good idea to print that list to have it in the future.

00 is normal
e8 is a RAM error code (i think?)
01 is a dumby code (reserved)
62 is a dumby code (reserved)

I would check your ram (switch slots, try one then another) and see if you can get passes it.

yeah tested all ram and still no beeps no post,if your cpu is fried what happens when you turn your machine on.there are no beeps on gpus so im pretty sure thats not it.and if it was the hdd the bios would show up.so what else could this be.you really think all 12 gigs ram is fried or could the mobo be fried,help please.

I would try static. Just put her all back together. Take all your cables out. Hold the power button for 20 seconds, then release for 10 seconds and try again for another 20 seconds.

That's quite often the problem. I woulden't have had thought your rig would have gone faulty over night. Especialy as the parts are very new/High end.

ok after testing dimms,i fried 4 of 6 dimms on my board.Luckily for me compusa gave me my refund on a gift card and also took back my i7 920,then i purchased the classified,just got it today and hooked it all up,longest day of my life,lol...worx great and will break it in a bit be4 i overclock...
