Which one should i get?

Thread Starter
Hi, i was benchin my pc as 4125mhz with my old 6600GT now i have a 6800GT and i cant go over 3.9 in benchs guess its my crapy psu so i want to get a new one.

I've found some in local store for my price range, which one should i pick?

Thermaltake Silent Pure Power 480W PSU
+3.3v 30A +5v 40A +12v1 18A +12v2 15A
Antec NeoPower 480W PSU
+5v 38A +12v1 18A +12v2 15A +3.3v 30A
FSP 550W 60PLN PSU
+5V 45A +3.3V: 45A +12V CPU: 20A +12V I/O: 20A

They are all around same price range 5$ more or less.I've heard some nice things about Antec NeoPower like being very stable and having unpluggable cables. Thermaltake is a wellknown brand in psu's but silence is not that important for me. And i've used FSP psu's before and i was very happy with it,and its 550W aswell. So what do you say?

I'd say go FSP it's much more powerful than the Antec and I don't think I'd even consider the Thermaltake.

I'd have to say... Get the Antec!

They are great Power supplies, but then again so are FPS so it's up to you dude

I'd get the FPS, but then again I'm slightly biased. The reason being that I've had two of them. The first one was a 235W that came with my old Pentium 166 machine. I swapped it with a Sparkle 235W, but then transplanted it in the case that has the FPS PSU. The fan on that thing was dead when I got the PC, but it was still able to run stable for hours on end. Soldered a new fan in there, and now it works great. The Sparkle is in my sister's semi-homebuilt PIII 500. I've currently got a 400W FSP in my system, and it's very quiet.
