Water cooling is a lot of fun, just be careful because once you start you can't stop.

I don't think I'll actually water cool soon. But whenever I see something like this, it makes me want to. Well, at least until I remember the cost and time and maintenance...

Keep up the good work!

Here are some more pics of my build.

I still have other small items to put in it along some more cable sleeving in the back and some cable management in the back.

Thats a very clean and nice mod man! I was curious about the airflow on that case cause of its lack of fans on the front so please post some temps if you can or your impressions in case with other ...cases! Good job mate! +rep

Thank you.

Overall I am happy with my airflow in the case, that is with my modding. I did not try the case at it's original stage. Adding the two fans in the side panel, even though it's going through the RAD is a great help with air flow. I also added a 80mm fan to the front for more aire flow.

EVGA x58 SLI Board, i7 940 CPU OC'd to 3.69 and a EVGA 295 GPU are all in the same loop. I am sure if I pulled my GPU off the loop then I could get lower CPU temps, but I am happy with how it is running currently.

Here are some temps of my system, I have a i7 940 CPU OC'd down to 3.69 currently . Do not see a reason to put it at 4.0 although it is saved in my BIOS setting if wanting to raise it again.

Temp on Idle

Didn't have time to run it under full load for a long time, here is just 12 minutes using prime 95.

Here is a shot of when my system was on air and in my HAF922 Case.

Dude! Another one! I looked at that Obsidian case when I saw it come into a local shop I buy parts at - and the box it comes in is hugemongus and seeing it next to your 922 really shows how big that sucker really is. Lots of room to play but where is the challenge in that

Awesome man - my next work machine is going to be a water cooled fun build again when I get time for that - and yes .... once you start doing this stuff you look for reasons to build new machines

LOL yeah this thing is huge compared to the HAF922 that we are use to. Yeah, I wanted to cool my GPU thus the larger case for another RAD. The HAF922 is a great case and I am looking at putting an i5 setup in it, but no time too soon or my wife will probably try to strangle me.

One of my dislikes of this case is the flimsy side panels and the powder coat is very thin. But those two items are nothing compared to how awesome this case is.

Water cooling is too addictive and I still have some items in this case to add, just small stuff but it will never end.

Will do tonight.

I currently live in Walnut creek. Been up here for just over a year. I am originally from LA County. Yeah, NorCal is pretty nice place with a lot of stuff to do around here.

the only thing i don't like is that norcal doesn't have the beaches like LA, but nothing an hour of drive can fix in santa cruz or a little up north on the 1

Here are my temps both at idle and load at 4.0.

I have the i7 940 and for me to stay stable at 4.0, I need to place my VREG, CPU CVORE to 1.44. Also in this loop is my GTX 295 block. My room ambient is 21ºC.

Idle

Here is under load using Prime 95 for about 45 minutes
