- SC2 is not out. Maybe you'll get a crossfire profile for that beta on or soon after 10.4 release, who knows.

I don't as much mind the SC2 issue, but the rippling in my screen when I provide a stable overclock with multiple monitors (independant) is extremely frustrating. And because eyefinity is garbage and makes games look awful there's no sense in using it right now, however using it does make it one independent display which fixes the ripples/flickering.

Well, 10.4 is out and the flickering is still here.
To my knowledge, this same problem has been around since way before the 5xxx series, I have no hopes in a driver fix for this crap.

Our only solution is probably the BIOS flash, I won't go into that before I watercool and get my final clocks though.

This driver fixed it for me.

You have to do this method to fix it.

Which version of afterburner did you use?

I had 1.1 but it didn't have the "EnableUnofficialOverclocking"
So I installed the latest 1.5.1 but then:
- Somehow trying to disable/enable overclocking in CCC doesn't work, I tick the box, click apply and it gets unticked automatically
- MSI afterburner doesn't go to 2D clocks, maybe I'd need to setup a 2D profile, but then how do I set a core clock lower than 675MHz?
- This version of afterburner doesn't allow voltage control on the GPU (oops that's to be unlocked in the option, nm)

Looks like 10.5 corrected the issue

Now the clocks sit at 400/1200 on idle which is generating more heat and power consumption. The only whay to get them back is to disable overdrive. This is a serious bug and should be looked at.

I have not tested this but I have noticed that I lost monitor rotation
I can rotate 2 monitors, but as soon as I plug in the 3rd one, everything toggles to landscape and I loose the rotate option.

The drivers seem to be 5xxx unified now, so no more eyefinity 6 dedicated driver. Hopefully I can now use my 7" USB monitors while eyefinity gaming and avoid the BSODs I was getting.

Lol, I've had this problem for 3 years and never really looked up on it.
I just thought I have OC'ed the GPU too high = flickering
lol

I have 12.6 installed and I still have issues.
It seems that the amd gpu tool is still sketchy with setting the GPU clocks...but if you check with like GPU-Z, you will see the clocks actually don't match what it says in the amd tool

Lastly, I found this...seems like the easiest solution. I'm trying when I get home today:
1. Open up CCC and create a new profile, call it whatever you want. I used TT for easy typing. Save it but don't apply it.

2. Enable hidden files (Tools > Folder Options > View > Show hidden files, folders, and drives)

3. Navigate to C:\\Users\\User[This is your windows log-in]\\AppData\\Local\\ATI\\ACE\\Profiles\\ and open up your saved profile with notepad.

4. Under
change value to 40000

Under
change value to 70000

Save the changes.

What this will do, is raise your lowest power state from 157/300 core/mem to 400/700. This will raise your power consumption and temps slightly (maybe) but you will no longer have the flickering issue.

5. Go back to CCC and apply that profile.
