If the Ultra D has the LED lights, here is how to read them, 4 LEDS on no CPU detected, 3 LEDs on RAM not detected, 2 LEDs on Vid Card not detected and 1 LED on should mean system boot up. I think that is right. You can also visit the street for some answers: www.dfi-street.com

You're gonna want to look at this. It's the procedure that DFI recommends to install hardware and OS. This should eliminate all problems and if it doesn't, RMA.

for ****s n giggles.
before hits the power button hold down a key on the keyboard(any one key) -

i have used 10 nf4 dfi boards so far and 2 of them needed a key pressed on the keyboard before powering up to show video. i dont know why and they have all had various types of hardware.

one had ati video the other had nvidia...
