Monitor problems

Well i just got done building my first computer and for the graphics card i chose a GeForce 6600 GT OC. The problem is that when i hook up my CRT monitor to it it doesnt display anything. Anyone know why?

Did you plug the PSU into the graphic card. try putting it on the other monitor plugin on the card (if there is one there is on mine)

Power Supply Unit. There is a little plugin on the card (in the inside of the case) that you will stick the power supply into to power the card.

Its usually on the corner of the card near the top

Its the black thing on the top right of the card. You have to plug your PSU into that

I checked the card and it doesn't have a slot for that. But I don't think the problem lies with the card cause the fan on it is running.
