Would a bigger monitor...

Would a bigger monitor give lower scores in 3DMark? I have a 27" LCD TV and my scores with my card seem to be just a little low (to me anyway). Running 3DMark05 at
1024x768 with no CPU tests with my card at 466/1200 will get me a score of 7700 or maybe a little higher.

So I was wondering if size of monitor has anything to do with the pushing of graphics and fps? Basically, i'm wondering if I switched to a 19" gaming CRT, would this raise my scores a little in 3Dmark05? I have my current monitor hooked up through DVI, could this be robbing me of fps?

Just wondering.

It's not the size of the moniter that affects it but the resolution. It's probably going to be 1024x768 on your 19 inch CRT aswell. Actual screen size has nothing to do with it, But the resolution does. That's a little below average but not by much.

nope, size of the monitor does not matter. resolution is the only thing that will change performance as far as screen related things go.

Thanks for all replies. I never heard of screen size being an issue, but didn't know if it required more output from the video card than normal. Thanks again.
