Well, I don't know that much about phase but I don't think you can just set your computer to know when your phase system turns off. I mean, theres thermal shutdown but thats at like 75C. I think your friend is just exaggerating a lot. *shrug* Sucks, too, cuz he's gotta be old enough to know better. No kid can afford a phase change system.

Well, the VAST VAST majority cannot. I am simply trying to say that in all likelyhood this person is an adult and should know better. I dont think too many people are interested in phase change that don't know a lot about computers and if this person is bragging or just lying, thats so lame.

Well he really does have a phase change system (I know that for a fact). He's only 15...maybe 16, can't remember, but his dad gives him 5k every two years to drop on a new system (I would love that kind of cash...)! His dad's every bit as big of a geek as he is, so I'm pretty sure they both have amazing rigs. As far as the OC goes...it's pretty hard to believe. Like I said, I'll wait for screenshots and pics.

For the Phase change unit to go from -45 to 50c is possible. If the head is not properly fitted flush to the CPU or it's one of the older phase change unit's on a high temp CPU. The older unit's havent the power to dissipate the heat generated or more accurately to maintain a steady temp.

As for the GPU 300% OC...... that's just funny
