Hey there guys..well as seing that at points in life money becomes tight..i must resort to this board as its 478 but adopts the pci-e and AGP i was wonderif i should change from my current board to this.??

Hmm well i may have to look into this..they also make agp boards dual cpu boards for 478 and lga 775..asrock are pretty good.

Well i found this other board which has more ram allocation slots..but can you guys actually find anywhere in the u.k where i can buy this board lol

I wonder how that VIA chipset overclocks. thats my only concern, I cant find a review???

You have to be wary of some of these AGP+PCI-E boards, as sometimes it isn't technically AGP...the AGP slot runs off the PCI bus and as a result suffers a large performance hit.

I know this was true of the earlier boards like this. I don't know about that board specifically though, you'll have to look around for some reviews :/

Yea, and get this, the PCIe bus only supports a few cards, look on their list

Thats probably just what its been tested with

All manufacturers have a 'compatability list' that shows what specific hardware has been tested with what, and is guaranteed to work. They can't discriminate against certain cards, that would be like saying you can use OCZ DDR400, but not GeIL DDR400. Oh and Kingston can join the party too

Well even if theres a performance hit i really dont care lol i just need a board with abit more compatibility and when it comes to ocing im really not bothered
