What I recently bought..
5.1 SAMSUNG Surround sound. (I will put pics if you want me to) 199.99
Cooler master V8 44.99

Interesting how your first purchase of a computer component was a CPU HSF, I would've went with a mugen scythe 2 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...&Tpk=megen%202 too bad it's all sold out for now but should be back in stock soon.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Essential Components
MSI X58 Pro-E LGA 1366 Intel X58 189.99 good choice X58 is the way to go
LITE-ON 24x DVD Burner 29.99 normal
HITACHI Deskstar 1TB 7200 RPM 79.99 you can do better than that. get something more reliable for your main drive. data is expensive, so protect it.
Thermaltake Spedo Advance Package 199.99 overkill case for your aircool setup, i know it sounds cliche but I'd go with a haf932.
Patriot Gamer Series 6GB DDR3 DDR3 1600 139.99 nice choice
Intel Core i7-920 Bloomfield 2.66GHz LGA 1366 $288.99 great chip to OC, got mine to 4ghz on air
ePOWER EP-1000SC 1000W ATX TRI-FIRE TRI SLI $99.99 grab a corsair, you won't regret it. seriously a bad power supply could destroy your whole setup

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Extra Componets
XFX Radeon HD 58701GB XXX Edition 427.99 try nvidia
Saitek PZ30AUR USB Wired Standard Eclipse Red Backlit Keyboard $39.99 logitech G15 is better you could find one for a little bit more.
GIGABYTE GM-M8000 Black 7 Buttons Gaming Mouse $49.99 i hear mix reviews about this mouse, i'd suggest you try a logitech g9/g5
VANTEC UGT-CR905 58-in-1 USB 2.0 Card $16.99 waste of money
Thermaltake GAMMA PAD A2256 Gaming Mouse Pad $18.49 waste of money
Microsoft Windows 7 Pro 64-bit for System Builders $139.99 find a college student and ask them to buy one for you at school, it cost about 25bucks.
Thermaltake A2492 120mm Case Fan $8.99 if you get the haf you wouldn't "haf"to buy this and save money too
LITE-ON Black 4X Blu-ray Reader $59.99 pointless
Rosewill RNX-N300 IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wireless-N 2.0 $24.99 good, as long as it's a PCI wireless card you can't go wrong.
Hanns·G HH-281HPB Black 28" 3ms 1920X1200 $319.99 samsung has one for 200 shipped which outputs to 2048 x 1152, it's about 5inches small though it would outperform this hanns.

yeah the death star eeerr i mean desk star had some problems. they used to use ceramic disks. i was talking with some people in irc and i think they actually got there crap together and use metal disks now. They really should have changed there name as the death star ordeal really hurts sales.

fermi is the new nvidia card that will come out next year

i dont knwo when, april? sooner? i've no idea
fermi should bring some competition out and lower the high prices on the 5xxx series

then again, nvidia isnt known for being budget friendly on their new cards

for win7, look around for sale here at ocn

http://www.overclock.net/software/63...mium-50-a.html

thats an ok deal, as mentioned above, find a college student and ask them to buy you one

i think that theres no use asking and posting your parts that you want to buy right now since you wont even buy them until February

technology changes fast, who knows whats goign to be released by then

i'd say wait and make changes to your list and repost another thread when you want to buy one

WOW ANOTHER TUSCONIAN!!

Welcome to OCN bro. There's several of us baking under the AZ sun. Whereabouts Tucson you are? I'm over in the east side, close to the Park Place Mall.

Nice rig to top it off.

Oh and I want the blu -ray bcuz it makes the rig more $ and more High end
For example a blu ray is 40$ but for a blu ray/ dvd rw is 150-250$ But then do this
Get a bluray drive then add a dvd rw that bumps up the price about 100$ so IF I ever want to sell I can sell it for more then its worth and I watch some movies to
