ive got an ati x1800xt 512mb can somebody tell what settings i should use to overclock

Welcome to the site.

The best way to overclock ATI cards is typically through the use of a program called ATI Tool. It will run tests to determine the maximum core and memory speeds your card can handle. I believe the newest version works with the x1800 series, though you should check that out on their website prior to using that program. What I like about it is that it does nearly everything automatically. As soon as your card gets too hot and/or gets pushed beyond its capabilities, it backs off the overclock. If you let each test (memory and core) run for a few hours, you're almost certain to find your maximum stable frequencies.
