Best DVD-Rs?

Thread Starter
I need a lot of DVD-Rs, but I'm not sure what brand to get! I've read on newegg that some brands are better than others. I need them to be cheap but still good quality. Any suggestions?

BTW I saw one on walmart.com that looked pretty good. (Here)

The one in your link is out of stock Do you have a Frys near you? I get DVDs from them pretty cheap. About 10 bucks for 50 most of the time.

Ritek/Ridata are the best I've used and I've used them all. I pick 'em up in those little hole-in-the-wall computer stores for like $23 per 50-pack.

How dare you hijack my thread! You would use the - type format, I think. Both R and RW should do the trick, but I'm not sure.

make sure your dvd player supports burned dvds first chief...

unless you get some weird dvd player, if it supports -r, itll support +r... and if you have to buy a new one to get burned dvd support, youd might as well buy one that can play divx, xvid, etc.

90% of dvd players play the -r format > Ihave had no problems with these discs .Try to get ritek GO4 or GO5 dye on the discs then you should have no problem, s. $13 for 25 seems alittle on the pricey side though especially if your buying in bulk. I have been paying £8.99 for 100 with the GO5 dye and have not lost a disc in a month apart fom my own mistakes . Datawrite or maxell are the best rands over here but the Datawritye are cheaper

I only use Verbatim, and Maxell. Ive never burned a coaster with eather one. I also always use -R for best compatability.
