Remote works on both LCDs

I just bought a Samsung LCD TV and found that the remote not only works on the tv but also on my monitor, which would be fine if they weren't in the same room, so whenever I change source, volume, etc on one it changes on the other as well.

Anyone know of a way to disable the remote for the monitor, besides electrical tape over the IR receiver?

Disassemble it and de-solder the IR receiver? there may be a setting in the OSD for the monitor.

Lol that would suck and have you thought of putting a small piece of electrical tape over the IR receiver.
