which processor?....:S - Page 7

Well if you look at the 3700+ and 4000+ wich the first one have a multi of 11 and the other one a multi of 12 ppl usally go with the 11x becuse they pretty much both oc the same and the 3700+ is cheaper and you see the same is with the 4400+ and 4800+ the only difference is the multi when I bought the 4000+ and payed 200€ more for it I regreted it becuse I didn't even use the 12x multi but deepending on the ram you're getting if you would get pc4000 ram when you've maxed out you're ram without ocing it you would be @ 250x12 wich would be 3ghz wich is not likley on a dual core but you never know but if you get the 4400+ you would have to get 273x11 before you get to 3ghz

There isnt to much difference between the two but have you considered that its really not worth £500 thats the 4800+ that is.

i have already got the motherboard sittin in my system, ok maybe i have changed a few of the specs that i had originally choose but you get the gist, now i am just wondering on the cpu, seeing that i am finding it near impossible to import because i will more than likely get some huge unexpected taxes to pay , so i think i have decided to get the 4800+x2, unless u can convince me that there is better out there for the money, or if it is a bad cpu all opinions are greatly appreciated soo say your bit

unfortunatly there was no opty's on ebay here in england, and i found out if i got it from another country i would have to pay an extra 17.5% soo theres no saving.

but now i have a more annoying problem, i have just got my 4800+x2, and when i got it out of the package i realised that it had a bent pin soo now i got to do the crappy RMA process how LONG!!!!!! will i ever get to use my new pc :O
