To all of those wondering, I have emailed Indigo Xtreme about this. I will let you guys know the verdict when they respond. Thanks!

Hrmmm, there may be hope! Looks like some of us have it installed wrong (from XS):

I can't i would need a hammer to twist it , that is why i love the mounting system , if you can twist it something must be off. Did you correctly install backplate or whatnot.
I'll reseat mine later to see what the problem is. Hopefully temps will improve too.

I want to figure this out, I can tell the sliding is impacting my temps

My guess is the middle thing can't be down at all when you install it, or else the screws on the side won't go down properly... dunno, I may do this tonight. I'll report back when if I do.

Rather than waiting for the results, I went and just ordered the Venomous-X. Couldn't stand the wait and hopefully it'll cool better than my Xigmatek S1283.

Been using a VenemousX on a 720be for several days now. Don't have test numbers to post because I have been lazy and not motivated. I am using the old model Thermalright amd adapter because the new hold down for AM2 had not been released when I ordered mine. (has it come out yet?)
So far I have been pretty amazed at the performance of this thing. I will try other monitoring software to compare to Everest, as the numbers I have right now are too low to be correct.
If any other AMD users have this cooler, would be interested in their results.
