Venomous-X Club(Unboxing video+Comparison with TRUE) - Page 13

Yeah I really don't like the wiggle factor with max pressure. Depending on how my temps are with the new reseat, I think I'm gonna go for the NH-D14/Indigo Xtreme combo.

Setup with my Xigamtek S1283:

Setup with the Thermalright Venomous-X using Xigmatek stock fan:

In push-pull:

Clearance for RAM height:

Negating how crappy my chip can overclock, here are some of the results I got with my Venomous-X. I went strictly to the push-pull setup when temperatures were getting a little out of hand. I had put a few 120mm fans on my mosfets since they were overheating and causing my CPU multiplier to change.

Xigamtek / 69°F ambient / stock fan

Venomous-X / 69°F ambient / no pressure (40 lbs) / Xigmatek fan

Venomous-X / 69°F ambient / 70 lbs / push-pull

The Ven X really is a good performer. That is why it is included in my future upgrade list.

Well now it can finally be proven that the Venomous X is indeed the best performing air cooling cpu cooler on the market as of today

Mine should be here today. I bought it on an impulse hehe. The only thing I am worried about now is Prolimatech coming back with something that beats the VenomX by 4-5C but TBH I don't really see how that is even possible!
