Hello, I was wondering what would be the best way to overclock my Evga 7800 gt. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

:withstupi Yeah once you install the latest forceware drivers run coolbits which will unlock the overclocking feature for your graphics card. From there I like to run a game (preferably something demanding and new) then minimize it and hit the "detect optimal frequencies" button. That'll give you an idea of your max OC... just keep an eye on the temps.

its real easy...all you do is unzip the file and click on the expanded file...after that a window will pop up asking if you would like to add it to the registry...you click yes and then you are good to go...happy overclocking...BTW i have the evga 7800gt as well...they overclock very nicely...mine will hold 495/1200 pretty well..a much better deal than a 7800gtx I believe

yeah. you just install coolbits and it's a registry change just like you said.

now once installed just right click your desktop and go properties, then follow that through to where you would go to change the display settings of your card.
now, there is a clock settings tab that has opened up on the left hand side.
