Gold Dye Bomb

Thread Starter
Ok so I'm moving all my stuff from my old case to my new case, and as a result I have to retube everything etc. for my liquid cooling. Anyways the question I want to ask is, has anyone used the primochill Gold dye bomb? I'm curious to see what it looks like in a liquid setup, and I can't seem to find any images of people using it.

In this case do it! You can tell unsavvy ppl its a machine for recycling your piss. Like, even put in some dummy tubes ending in a water bottle and a port on top to piss into. And when they're like "nuh uh" grab the bottle and take a swig

I'm on hydrocodone so i'm creative right now forgive me.

Don't use dyes in your loops. Distilled water and PTNuke/Silver only.

If you want a longer explanation read the forums.

The funny thing is, Primochill coolant will actually keep your loop warmer than pure distilled water. Anything added to a loop (other than distilled) will lower the specific heat capacity of the liquid, and thus increase temperatures.

If you're not worried about gunk from dye, than think about the temperature gain you'll see by skipping the marketing hype. On top of that, the non-conductive property of something like primochill will go away over time anyway!

I'll try to grab a few thread about dye bombs and what they do, but in the mean time, remember that any coolant you buy is most likely a waste of money.

EDIT: Did you ever open up your block after you were having issues with Fesser dyes Monst3r? You've only been using the primochill bomb for a couple weeks, give it time to gunk up in a month or two and see what it looks like.
