Is 103 C too hot ?!?

Thread Starter
Ive got my 6600 mobile clocked at 340/600 in my laptop and currently at load its running at a whopping 103 degrees celcius. Just wondering what is maximum temperature for this gpu or where I could find this kind of information. I'm pretty sure my z71v has a really lousy heatsink on the vid card. Thanks for any help guys. PS my gpu fan is running at 6000 rpm too!!

Yes. thats VERY hot for a laptop, since it doesnt even have good airflow.. I suggest you bring it back down. even 70 sounds high for a laptop..

I don't know what the maximum is, but I'm sure that 103 is WAY too hot.

Ever think of getting any extra cooling devices for your laptop? Might help for your overclock. But yeah I would say that is hot haha

Wow im really roasting this thing aren't I. I'm temped to make my own gpu block to replace the thermal pad and use as5, but that would void my warranty. I suppose I'd be better off cooking the thing to death before my warranty expires lol.
