Got all my new stuff, Trying to reach a high overclock...

Ive given my ram max volts, 2.8, ive changed everythign else in bios i need to like PCI/AGP stuff and whatnot. And im using clockgen to slowly move up and testing it with prime95, having to go into bios and change the CPU voltage but ive only raised it to 1.42 which was one notch up from stock.

The test is runnign without errors so far but my computer is BEEPing. dont know why... my temps are SOOO low with this typhoon, my load at 3.7 GHZ is 52, that was my IDLE with my old cooler! what could the beeping be?

ya im changing it in the bios after i get a good clock with the program. i didnt want to have to flash my cmos again that was gay lol.

*Update* I went into the bios and changed my FSB to 253. i KEEP getting an error no matter what Vcore i put. this is pissing me off, it boots kinda slow somtimes, like it will hang on detecting IDE and somtimes before that.

*update* OK i lowered the timings all the way to 3-4-4-8 just to make sure it wasnt the ram, and now i am not getting errors for 20+ minutes which is a good sign but im still getting the beep, could the beep be from my motherboard pwr temp getting high (its abotu 60 but jumps somtimes to 65) i am thinking baout getting a copper cooler for it as the abit fan sucks... hoping i can OC this stuff, kinda the reason i just bought 350 bucks worth of stuff. Anyway let me know what u all think about the beeping, thanks all.

well i searched and found some information on bios beeps, and when i OCed the first time i didnt loosen the timings enough and my board wouldnt boot and had a long beep, and that means memory failure. so i flashed cmos but now the beeps are while im running and it doesnt really say anything about that in the manual. im assuming its memory related but im not getting any errors in prime95, and im running 2.8volts with 3-4-4-8 timmings on OCZ plat rev2. i mean cmon this ram can do that in its sleep...
