Divider Worth It? - Page 3

I don't know about vdimm and CPU voltage, since I've got different memory, but I've got my NF4 voltage around 1.7~1.8. It seems to work the best at 1 volt below the memory voltage. Now, with my board, sometimes the board will just shut off right before you should hear the "beep." If that's the case, you'll have to reset the CMOS so before you do this write down your BIOS settings.

I tried that to, it seems like 2.55 is the limit with a divider. and 2.45 without a divider. unless I am doing something wrong

Have you changed your HT multiplier to 3x? Anything over 200 needs 4x and anything over 250 needs 3x. If you happen to go over 333 than it'll have to go downo to 2x or 2.5x.

k I am guessing I need some more advanced help. I looked thru some of the FAQ's and did the "How to find your max cpu clock speed" one. Well I did exactly as it told me to do and it boots fine at 2.65. But it will fail memtest after about 10 seconds. Could it be that it is the CPU's max speed? I sort of doubt it tho. If anyone has some time for me and my problem and could talk to me thru an internet messenger program I would greatly appriciate it.
