How would you go about applying the AS5 to the GPU?

I really dont want to break anything

Some will say to put a BB sized dot in the middle and then put the heatsink on. I prefer getting a ziplock bag or something and putting it over your finger. Then I get that BB sized dot and spread it across the core evenly so it's nice & flat. You're not gonna break your GPU with your finger

Is it hard to take off the HS? I dont want to break it

Also, can I use the same stuff that I used on my CPU? (64 3400+)

And lastly, right now my card can get as hot as 75C, is that safe? And will the AS5 drastically reduce my temps?

Thanks for all the help!

no its not hard to take off, you just unscrew it and/or take out the plastic press pins

you can use as5, anything is better than the stock thermal pads.
Make sure you remove the old thermal pads completely (ram modules also).
Make sure that the heat sink touches both the gpu core and the ram with the pads removed - I've seen one card that used different sized thermal pads as shims.

I *believe* that 75c is safe for your card, google it to be sure
Resetting the heat sink with another compund will most likely bring down your temps a bit, but really depends on your card and case cooling as well as your ambient temp.
