geil value problems please help

hello all kind of new to this oc thing. so here we go i have set my memory from 333mhz to 400mhz i have it set to 1t and the ht freq at 1x if i oc even the slightest bit it reboots.but at 333mhz i can oc like mad i have yet to mess with the ram timing my question is what mhz should my memory be set at. please help!

If you set your memory down to DDR333 and then proceed to bump up the HTT (FSB), you aren't necessarily overclocking your ram. suppose your HTT is 220 x 10, with your divider at 333 (that's 5/6), your actual ram speed is 183.33. That would mean that it's still underclocked.

Give it 2.7 or 2.8 volts if you intend to overclock at all with DDR400. I have run this ram stable at HTT 235 (x10) with DDR400 (that's a 235 FSB on value ram). I didn't expect that kind of performance out of it, but it is capable of that. Good luck.
