AMD Athlon 7850 unlocking hidden cores

Thread Starter
I have a AMD athlon 7850 black edition processor and I read that it has hidden cores. Is there any way to unlock them?

I would also like to know how to oc the ram so as to get it to run at 1066

SYSTEM:
MB: Asus M3N72-D
RAM: OCZ reaper DDR2 (1066 if oc'd currently running at 800)]
GRAPHICS: EVGA GeForce 8800GTS 512Mb

The method employed: Set the appropriate BIOS setting for the Advanced Clock Calibration feature to "Auto", save settings and restart. The system will be able to deal with the disabled core, and off load some work to it. The processor with the "additional" core was tested to be Prime95 stable and was able to boost 3DMark06 CPU score by as much as 1,000 points. Let the screenshots below speak for themselves:

It all depends on your mobo.

I would think your bios is close to this.

It may be possible, but not on that chipset, you would need something from AMD/ATi with the 750 southbridge.

What do you mean? Both the 7750 and 7850 are the same Kuma core.
