Hey people, I'm the audio director and composer for X32I (since July this year), and I wanted to clear up some things.
The first episode of the mod, was released ages ago (in 2008) and has very little relation to X32I Redemption, except in name.
The original X32I was made just to establish the universe that X32I will take place in. Since then, the scope of the project has expanded massively and most importantly, the genre of the game..
X32I Redemption will be a space sim, inspired by games such as Freespace 2, Star Wars : TIE Fighter. The game will put you in the shoes of a pilot, and the story will be told from his/her point of view. You will do all kinds of missions for your faction, the United Earth Alliance. I don't really want to say much more than that.

The next video we release will most likely take place from inside the ship that you will spend most of your time in and will therefore be a true demonstration of the kind of gameplay that you can expect.
We still have a long way to go on this project, but the more stuff we put out, the more interest we get, (and the more staff we get!) so things should start to grow exponentially this year.
Thanks for your interest in this project, and I hope people here at overclock.net will keep track of us and spread the word.
Currently X32I Redemption is a mod, but with enough interest and help from the community, and a decent game demo from us, we plan to make it a stand-alone game.
Oh, and if you have time, please vote for us at ModDB for Mod Of The Year if you think we deserve it, there's not much time left
- We hope to do well in the 'Best Upcoming Mod' category and at least make the Top 100.http://www.moddb.com/mods/x32i
Best wishes, and thanks for reading/watching/following!
