Is this too hot?

I've got my 6600LE overclocked from 300/400 to 420/498. Idle temps are around 50C. Load temps tend to be around 72C. Is this too warm to keep at this high of a setting for long periods of time?

just set my clocks to 300/460 for 2D and low-end 3D and 350/460 for high-end 3D. Aquamark around 27,000. Temps still 52C idle and around 70C load. Is this a hardware thing or is RivaTuner reporting the wrong thing?

Those temps seem fine. If you want to bring them down then aftermarket cooling like the Zalman vf700-cu should help quite a bit
