P4C800-E Deluxe USB port

Thread Starter
My current rig has the p4c800-e deluxe MB. I can't find anywhere if there is a way and if so how to keep power on the usb ports when my comp is powered down. I have the G7 laser mouse and the 2nd battery will not recharge with comp off. Ive tried the manual and the only mention of usb power is in referrence to the usb device wake up. Ive tried asus website. Googled it as well.

The wake on USB option may be the key to what you're looking to do. I don't believe the USB ports will be powered otherwise. I've only used the wake on <whatever> option on one computer, and it was wake on keyboard. In that case, the keyboard received power while the computer was off, and the lock lights remained on. Try enabling the wake on USB option and see if that helps.
