thanks appreciate it ,well oc'ed 6600gt last night and watched temp reach 70. this morning ,i ran a duct of types out the window and into case with a fan connected internally about an inch from gpu proccessor and ducted another fan to blow external air on cpu from about an inchcpu oc'ed from 2800 to 3000.01.
gpu stock was 500 and 1000. oc'ed to 585 and 1120.
loaded game [pf+fb+aep 4.02] andlet sit . temps were with cpu running constant 50 to55% with game loaded but not playing were:
board 30
cpu 42
gpu 47
played game approx. 10 min, temps were
board max 31
cpu max 43
gpu temp 60
dont have program that constantly moniters and gives reports so i only know temps on exiting game via windows button and am not sure excactly about max temp on gpu. graphics were fine no artifacts are tearing or lag .
dont know what safe temps are or should be and havent a clue about oc'ing memory so kinda reluctant to go anyfurther.
have couple other sys networked but this my gamer and i;d cry like a little girl if i burnt something out and couldnt fly with the squadron lol
my p 1.8 / 1 gig ram/9200se i use to host occassional games. i use as server and fly on my gamer as client. it will hod 16 players quite well . thats the most ive had on and havent oc'ed ever but thinking a little extra might go a long way
any tips, advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance
