Yeah..it sucks that that isn't possible now. $530 is WAY too much, could build a barebone with that ammount of money!

But any unlocked smartphone will cost you more then 500dollars. The iPhone 3gs will cost you around 700dollars to buy unlocked. I don't get why everyone is making such a big deal about that. If you want the phone, sign up for a contract like you would for any other phone and you can get it for $179.
