Thread Starter
So right now its at 553/1111 with a temp of 48 idle, is this ok, should I push it some more? Oh and the driver version is 81.98, Should I stick with the new ones or got back to a older one?

Yeah, that clock speed seems insane, my 7800gt is only at 495, doesn't it artifact?

I don't know a lot, but even though the GPU can handle a lot more, I sure as heck wouldn't want mine running that hot.

that's about right... i wouldn't be too worried about those kinda temps. in all honesty. i have 2 cards in sli with them overclocked to 575/1151 and i get 76c. that's not too bad at all considering they have a threshold at 149c where the slow down to keep from damaging.
no, I think that is an alright temp... although my SLI MSI 6600GT's load at 60 OC'd to 570/1140... but my case stays pretty cool. (currently running a single 7800GT)

Cards can get alot hotter than a processor, I wouldnt worry until high 70s, ive heard they can handle low 80s...but I dunno.. that seems really hot =)
