I have a problem with my CPU. I had it running stable at 2750 MHz for the past three days or so. It was running fine most of today, also. It was running just fine until I restarted a few minutes ago. I restarted and loaded up CPU-Z. Everything was fine, FSB at 250, clock at 2750 overall. But then, about 5 minutes later, I looked down and CPU-Z read 2201. My CPU had reset itself to stock! I shut down CPU-Z and restarted it to see if it was an error--but the clock still read 2201. I restarted and ran CPU-Z again. It was fine, running 2750, but about 5 minutes after starting CPU-Z, it was back at 2210. I check with several other programs to confirm this as the speed, and sure enough, every reading I get is back at stock. Has anyone ever heard of a problem like this? Should I lower the HTT Multi (currently set to 4)? Should I up the VCore (currently set at like 1.42)? Does anyone know what my problem is?
