ahh....

Well then i will mod the 6600GT BIOS to make the ram run at 6-700Mhz insted of 1000, but first I need better cooling. It overheated while I had the core at 500Mhz running 3DMARK

no, jsut most 6600's have temp sensor hiden, and the only way to unlock it is to do a BIOS flash.

I was only able to get a 68 MHz increase on memory when I had my 6600 DDR.
If you're using an old driver then try 81.95.

On the other hand I think 200 MHz on the core is a great overclock !

I'm not sure you can get that 6600 to perform at 1000MHz.

well, if youre crazy to try to double the 6600's memory clock, to reach same performance lines as the GT, your computer will either crash very quickly due to extreme GPU heat, or youll melt your card

It seems like any 6600 with plain DDR memory won't go beyond about a 100MHz increase in speed. My 6600LE has stock speeds of 300/400 and I can only get the memory working at 498. Admittedly, if I did one of my BIOS mods to it, then I might be able to get to 520 or so.
