Hey Im a novice at overclocking and still learning on the subject. Ive read through the thread. Ive got one question. Is it worth slowing down the speed of your RAM to increase the speed of your CPU? I have an ECS NForce 4 board with an overclocking feature in the BIOS. Ive tried a few different RAM timmings. Ive noticed that changing the CAS# to 2.5 slows down the RAM speed to 166mhz? which seems to be popular here. I have my timmings set at 3-5-5-8 @ 210 Mhz with the cpu running @ 2.1 Ghz. Any of yall have any sugestions for me? Congrats on the dude (sorry I forgot who it was) getting it up to 3.1, thats awesome! searchin4waves@aol.com

Mine runs just fine with that value crap ram J.Brown . In fact it will run 1:1 @ 240 with the default timings. I run perfectly stable @ 2.7GHz with a DH-E6 stepping, either with 300X9 with memory @ 100MHz or 270X9 with memory @ 166MHz. VCore is typically between 1.55v and 1.57v
