[Intermediate] Caraboose's ammo box - Page 2

Simple and clean, but the best part is that the bullet holes are genuine!

I also like the shell-casings that you used for the thumb-screw covers - nice touch.

...I also have an affinity for camouflage-colored stuff.

Mod on, Caraboose.

I have this sneaking suspicion that this is merely the tip of a very epic ice-berg.

If you are up to it next year, let's see if we can get better focus on this contest to make it the best event ever and one that will surpass the monthly mods. Hmmm.. a suggestion might be to suspend the MOTM for July so that the yearly contest take center stage.

You did finish as best as you could which means that you have the determination to do the best you can with what resources you can muster. Pride is finishing I think. I would have felt really bad if I had just left my log unfinished. It would mean that I let the guys down, the site, the event and ultimately, myself. So congratz for getting as far as you did!

Cheers and Saludos

I agree with Phaedra, last year's was way overboard, hehe!
You'll love next years - assuming I can get funding for it (got to pay for truck and gas and then a nice long road trip right after the competition, so I sure hope I can afford the case in that mix )

Only a 9mm, because the range was out of most ammunition so I had to borrow their range gun and couldn't use my dads shotgun or my AR15
As for the ice berg...

I really feel for you Caraboose and does 5th from last garner any sympathy from you? I must admit that no matter how much we enjoy our hobbies, there comes a time when we get sort of fed up or detoured from it/them. A new dirt bike, a trip we have hankered on for a long time, a car repair/mod or the negative ones like a divorce, breakup with the gf, a brush with a hurricane, finals, etc.

Not finishing to perfection has a heavy price to pay the piper here, I now know. Atleast they should toss us a bone for atleast finishing, no wait, Admin and Chipp and Rado said there would be a consolation prize for those that finished and a chance to participate in a $100 raffle! All is not lost because we FINISHED, altho not what we wished for.

Not all is lost for this year and of course, next year's is a while away. I just hope to get some income for next year's mod or I bit the dust with this one and you will prance to the end taking the category, hehe. I am sure you will be back with a vengeance!

Time will tell!

Cheers (or cheer up) and Saludos

Ya know what would have been totally awesome...?

Opening up on that case with a .50 cal.... but then again there wouldn't have been anything left.

I've seen .50's cut vehicles in half.

Or perhaps you could have borrowed this:

Lol Rado, it was Theodore Roosevelt, any coincidence with Bugs Bunny is just coincidental!

Of course I'd hate to bump into Syr in a dark alley on a bad day, and Caraboose I don't think is any leaner altho I have my arsenal too, hehe.

Cheers and Saludos
