X1300 Vs X800xl

Thread Starter
Guys i found a X1300 with 600 Mhz core,
4 pixil pipes x 600 = 2400

My x800xl
16 x 400 = 6400

Which one is faster, (x800 xl is prob i think)

Why would they make the X1300 if last gen cards are faster than it??? Even if it has MS 3.0 i wouldnt be able to play A game with MS 3.0 like Unreal 2007.

Maybe the architecture is faster?

X1300 series is compared to X600XT! No way X1300 could be better.
X1300 Series scores about 2200+ on 3dmark05, and X800XL scores 6000!
Big Differnts

I will vouch for that. I got x1300 sitting right here in box. Only got 2200 on 3dmark05, and 70 fps avg in atitool. Got new x800xl and scored 5200 on 3dmark05 and avg 215 fps on atitool. Whats the deal??

Are you guys serious? The X1300 is a low end solution for the next gen just like the X300 was to the Xxxx gen. The X300 was not better than an 9800 or some other cards before it, why is everyone acting surprised, who would offer a card with newer technology that is faster for such a low price?

Rofl.

OJX is completly right, as far as performance goes, the X800 XL is light years ahead of the X1300.

X1300 is like the X300 of the last generation, low end. The prices however are still fairly high because its ATI's newest X1000 generation, so as far as price it compares with the 6600 DDR2. The 6600 DDR2 outperforms it, but the X1300 has better techs like ATI's Avivo.

It also has SM 3.0. But its a budget card so its not gonna perform as well as the X800XL which is a mid end card.
Very nice!

haha funny ^^ a 4 pixel pipeline card will never outperform a 16 pipeline card ^^
they probably make it for pplz who do light gaming, or sth like that, and dont wanna waste alot of money

They make a new line so people will think it's faster than the old one they've got...I think the majority of them go in Dells lol.

x1300 is low-end. It's just that.
x800 was a mid-high-end card. It still is...
