anyway, with this kind of voltage i think 4Ghz is a go
BIOS is set for 1.45v.
But it says in PC Health (BIOS) it's at 1.412.
Quite confusing.... I'm guessing if at load it will be 1.45v.

whats important is CPU-Z and if that is 1.39v then you still have room for 4Ghz

It went up.
1.408 in CPU-Z.
Does that mean I still have a chance?
Even though I'm sure it's going to need a hell of a bunch of V to get there.

yeah its the voltage to go +_ 0.01v

you still have +0.05v to reach 4Ghz

Man up soldier

Doesn't look like it will happen.
4.01Ghz.

1.475V in BIOS
1.440 in CPU-Z

still not stable.
8Gflops & 47C in IBT.
I know that ain't right.

Hey guys, nice to see this thread alive and strong.

I'm still stuck at 247x13 @ 3.21Ghz and can't raise my FSB a single Mhz more than this or system will not boot.
Lowering the Multiplier doesn't help either.
Is this the limit of my CPU i wonder?
I don't think the problem lies in the CPU.
It might have to deal with your board.
Have you tried giving it more NB voltage and seeing if it posts?
I know my FSB V is .02+ and my NB V is .02+

check if your RAM is overclocked, if it is..you have 3 options

1- add +0.1v or +0.2v to your RAM
2- OR...downclock your RAM by latching to an FSB lane (if your MB supports this)
3- OR...unlink your FSB from your RAM (if your MB supports this)

oh and 3.21 is far from being the limit of your CPU

you probably have the highest or second highest -stable- OC in this club

i think Boyka is still number one but his CPU is a -rare- exception with a -very low- VID

lucky bastard
