Hi Omari, issue I'm having is although I have set parameters somewhat matching those within this thread I'm not 100% sure its accurate as I am not really noticing major changes in anything I run or do. This may be down to FSB/Memory latching??

I am also aware that with setting parameters I could be causing harm, as above I have previously posted the settings I have found on my motherboard BIOs do not correspond with parameters mentioned on this forum.

@Cyrious: Different models would explain that then I guess, I do seem to recall Gigabyte used to do BIOS updates with myself running F4 would you recommend a site to download F9 BIOS as I could not locate when I tried searching for information or would this not be needed?

thread is dead

alright, i got a question: would increasing core clock while keeping FSB and DRAM the same help boost folding@home performance?

evening lads, was reading upon example A as i was trying to reach 3.5ghz but when i go over around 3ghz , even with voltage increased from 1.2750 to 1.3 the system shuts down and resets automactically, i managed to get it SLIGHTLY higher, as one core use to be 2.6ghz and the other 1.6ghz now the 1.6 has changed to 2.13.. but cant get it any higher? cant seem to change the ram frequency either if thats the problem...?

try cranking the voltage further. And why are the cores running at different speeds? the wolfdale die is monolithic and runs off a single clock signal. It should be impossible for the 2 cores to run at different speeds.

Hey guys, just a quick one. I run my system currently at 3.45 - 13 x 265 (bios states under 1.29v-can this be true?) which is fine at the moment, but if i can run it safely at 3.75, why not? Now I understand that I need to play with the voltages, my only problem is I can't set it in bios? Which is probably my crappy Mobo?
Please help! I want more!
And thanks for a awesome forum!

Thats just windows, i managed to get 4.3ghz but cant seem to change the ram freq. Te options there, but highlighted , unless im missing something as im a virgin Oc'er so i was unable to get a good stable OC at the moment, nearest i got was 3.9ghz stable with stock vcore even,
