LOL

If you are going to use that computer for movies only then down-clock the CPU to 1.5Ghz/0.92v or something , this CPU is an overkill for such tasks even @ 1GHz

As i told you before, my now pathetic HD3850 is like 10-15times more powerful than your GPU and its still no match for my E5300 @ 2.6Ghz

more than you will ever need for watching 1080P movies and the 1GB is useless since the card's core can use something like 200-300MB of on-board RAM

I can get a 512MB for about 20.00 less but would you stick with the 1g ? Also I have noticed that I have no fan speed control at all my fans on my board CPU and both case fans are running at 100% and the thing sounds like a wind tunnel... my Temps are CPU 29C and Case temp is around 39C.. Anyone got an idea how to slow these down a little ?? Easy Tune 6 is of no use as it does not seem to work

If you are using this as a movie computer i would look at getting a passive cooled graphics card.

To quiten your fans down you can either get a fan controller (http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Zalman-Fanma...#ht_857wt_1165)like that one, or if you are tech savy enough you could solder in some resistors in-line with your fans.

512MB is more than enough, and as the user above me posted, try to get a passively cooled one,

As for your fan control, i know for a fact that your MB has a CPU fan control option,

GO to Bios -> PC Health Status
CPU Smart FAN Control [Enabled]

Oh and you don't need like 4 fans for such a low profile HTPC, Just install a fan at the back of the case and then you have 2 fans (rear fan and CPU fan) so 2 if your PSU doesn't have one...also...your fans might be making more noise than they should be so make sure the blades are clean/ fans aren't damaged/ no wire is touching the fan blades....etc

I will work on the fan situation tonight.. I am running 3 fans now ( Cpu. Front and Rear ) and of course the PSU .. Anyhow I came across a new dilema today. I decided to bump around with the MIT feature in the Bios but when I clicked on the MIT I got the message
Warning the system failed to ()()())( because of OC Something are other.. But the computer boots fine.. Also now in the Easy Tune 6 I am only showing CPU to be running at like 1206.02 or something like that .. When I check everest it says I am overclocked 5% at 2741.52 mhz.. Also something else weird everest reports that my CPU FSB at normal should be 100 and that it is running at 609 and that it is overclocked like 522 %.. This cant be right .. As far as Easy Tune Goes I have re downloded it about 10 times and get the same reading .. I also used @ Bios and restored the bios back to default and then tried to OC but still not reading right ...

My settings as per Easy Tune 6 ( Reading Only are )
CPU Shows 2988 for just a second then shows 1284 mhz
BUS 212.36 mhz
FSB 849.45
Multiplier shows 6 but is really at 13 in bios
Cpu Voltage fluctuates between 1.07 to 1.248
DRAM 1.824
My temps are at 33 CPU
And 49 For Case
Wonder what the heck is going on

Great now CPU-Z is showing only 1200 mhz core speed .. It is almost like I lost one side of my cpu .. But everest still shows it at 2701 mhz...and pc diagnosis shows it at 2000mhz.. I think I may have to reset the bios again.. THis sux
