dont know if anyone still here but im a complete noob at Overclocking i read some of the first pages enough to understand and get confused lol. I just put together a computer and i bought the e5300, the motherboard is msi g41m-p33 and i notice that it had fsb switch to overclock. Can i use the switch and get the same results? or should i mess around with the bios? i also notice that in the bios my computer by default runs at 2.6 Ghz i then use the oc switch and it goes up to 3.4 Ghz but while checking my computer specs "not in bios" it states its at 2.6 Ghz. Anyone help me!!!!

Welcome to the club mate

the "switch" will not give you a stable Overclock, just go into the bios and modify the OC settings, if you need help the board seems dead but its alive and well
