latest fiddling.
after applying AS5 stressing with linx results in about 75-80 C.
i could probably bump up the FSB by 1 or 2 more. need more case fans. 1 is not cutting it.

So I recieved my new cooler, just need to get better RAM so I can overclock further, but with an ambient temperature of 15 celsius, I get these temperatures on full load. Major difference from 70 degrees before.

you need a better cooler too, 80C is too high...

nice overclock though

his voltage is overkill,no wonder why his temps hits 80C . its not cooling problem only

well my ambient now a days is about 30+ so can't do much. i'll do more experiment to see if i can lower the volt but doubt it. your cpu is very nice compared to mine.

Your temp won't kill your CPU, you need 84C core temp + for that but your voltage is too much for that...unless...you have a big v-droop when you stress test your CPU

show us a picture of CPU-Z/core voltage, while prime95 is running in the background, for example i can get a v-droop from 1.36 to 1.32-1.30 once i stress test my CPU

at this clock and 10% over volt the cpu is almost stable. it'll go through linpack for about 5 cycles and freeze. it's either i lower the clock or up the volt. i chose to up the volt.
