Added you on Skype, omari, but I didn't see you on this weekend (when I was around).

Would PM's work?

Sorry, I'm at work right now. Don't have access to Skype here. That's prolly why I didn't see you online (as our timezones are way different.)

I'll try and catch you during some of those hours in the next day or so.

After a year with a laptop i'm back to a desktop !

Gear :

P5k-E
2x2gb pc6400
E5300 R0
Thermalright Ultra extreme 120 + Sflex fan

Results - Prime, occt and linpack stable Voltages are cpu-z readings during load

333x12 1.35v

333x12.5 1.44V <== 2 hours occt stable with only 1.41v but reboot after 50seconds stressing with Linpack. Played with VTT - PLL but seems 1.44v is needed.

I'll try 333x13 later but afraid temps will get out of control. Temps at 333x12.5 1.44v room : +- 22 °c , 61-63 °c prime 71-73°c Linx.

Any more results with a good cooler and high voltages ?

Currently running http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=990192 24/24h

Wierd cpu timeline for me : 4ghz c2d 2mb -> 2ghz c2d 3mb ( laptop) -> 4.175 c2d 2mb cache. But now i have VT!

go back to 1.41v or stay with 1.44 and kiss your CPU goodbye soon

in fact, you should stay as close to 1.40v as possible because you have to make room for the usual voltage spike of 0.05 so 1.4 is the max recommended and your CPU is already at 4GHZ, a 175Mhz extra won't be noticeable at all and will only serve to damage your CPU soon because of the 1.44v requirement

Lots of ppl run at 1.45v and i've run my e5200 @ 1.5V a month, running 3.8ghz 1.45v a year now at my friends house without any degradation. I'm not afraid of the extra voltage but thanks for the warning !

I realise that it's not the best thing to do but my temps aren't crazy and in the end it's only a €53 cpu.

its your CPU mate, nonetheless, i think you have the highest OC'ed E5300 on this thread so congrats

Im going to try what you said omari.
Here is a little bit of what I have been putting together for the Club.

Using RealtempGT XS Bench.
1. 2.2ghz 220x10 = 729
2. 2.3ghz 230x10 = 769
3. 2.4ghz 240x10 = 803
4. 2.5ghz 250x10 = 836
5. 2.6ghz 260x10 = 868
6. 2.7ghz 270x10 = 899
7. 2.8ghz 280x10 = 936
8. 2.73gh 260x10.5 = 903
9. 2.78gh 265x10.5 = 930
10. 2.83gh 270x10.5 = 947
11. 2.86gh 260x11 = 956
12. 3.12gh 260x12 = 1041
13. 3.18gh 265x12 = 1054
14. 3.24gh 270x12 = 1073
15. 3.30gh 275x12 = 1105
16. 3.36gh 280x12 = 1110
17. 3.38gh 260x13 = 1118
18. 3.51gh 270x13 = 1164
NICE INFORMATION- LOVE IT MUCH

Applying High multiplier (13x) may hindered by FSB Wall around 280 MHz.
You can do, more high FSB by lowering the multiplier

Btw, Have u tried 333x9 (with lower multplier)?
and then u can increase the multiplier step by step and make a benchmark comparison and showing it to us
